Sustainable Energy and Innovation
Our operations run entirely on solar energy. The solar panels on our building power, among other things, our air conditioning units – providing cooling in summer and heating in winter. But sustainability goes beyond energy alone. We critically assess our products and packaging. Where possible, we offer lead-free alloys for our classic cast bronze bearing sleeves, develop air bearings without mechanical friction, and our ceramic slide and ball bearings are increasingly used in applications where reduced resistance and energy consumption are essential.
Responsible Use of Materials
We are currently working toward environmental certification focused on our waste streams. In practice, this means we carefully separate packaging materials, recycle plastics, and reuse cardboard. This helps us reduce our ecological footprint and contribute to a circular economy.
Connection as a Core Value
Social engagement is part of our DNA. Connection is one of our core values – and it extends beyond the workplace. Each year, we support causes that align with who we are and what we stand for. For example, we support Stichting DPJ, which promotes drug prevention among young people. We also contribute to organizations that enable groundbreaking health research. Because connection also means investing in a future where diseases are detected earlier, treated better, or even prevented.
